Help wanted

Um, several bids for advice guys.

First, the band is great and we're trying to stabalize our network places before we actually have to, meaning spiffing up the  band's Myspace actually setting up a website. Only, we don't know the exact mechanics of doing that.

For the most part:

!) How would one go about working Corel Photoshop if they'd never been on it before?

I've cruised a lot of helpful tutorials and such, but if you know of any more, I'd appreciate it bunches.

@) Is there anyone who's willing to do graphics for us (for free, preferably)?

#) What's the best way to get a website? Domain suggestions, etc.

We don't mean anything like Geo or Yahoo donated domains, but an actual site. (As they're college students and I'm currently unemployed we'd prefer cheap or free, but knowing all options would be good to have.)

$) Does anyone know anything about customizing Myspace?

Also, any contests, tours, music hosting sites and such that you might know of would be helpful.

 you all! Love! Love love!

Also, Happy Saturday.

Personal update

I'm doing better. Still depressed, but only non-functional when I let it get to me; safe to say, I've been out and about for a while now, if only because it was Spring Break and my friends were free.

The sibs and I are scheduled for various doctor/therapist visits, finally, and the plans for moving and "S'more gets a life" are actually starting to sound good and realistic. It's strange actually being calm after so much stressing. Several people slapped sense (or something like it) into me for a week straight --most notably JamJam--and I've been a little more active since. Only sorta.

Last night, she took me to see "College Roadtrip" which, we realized, was the first funny/cozy movie we'd seen if forever. WHile there, I saw the trailer for "Speed Racer" and flipped. I'm upset. Very upset. Then I saw the trailer for "Narnia: Caspian" and settled down because I love the music they use in that epic.

Yo, it's snowing! In Georgia! In March.

Lately there have been some bad storms all over the U.S. and my area has only ever had the watered down back wash, so I can only assume something bad is happening (or is going to happen) somewhere. Be safe everyone, please.

Oh, and as the beginning query didn't state, I found out I have a demo of Photoshop on my new laptop. I hadn't messed with it since Christmas because there's a problem with the network and this laptop is fine (most of the time). Now that I know I have Photoshop (YES!) I'm afraid to open it for fear of wasting precious squee moments. I know it's not practical, but I wish they could have just given me the real thing. *Sigh* But Yay!

Also, Teen Titans: Year One is adorable. And gorgeous. Yum. Garth is even growing on me, which is saying something.
