Well, holidays have been making things hectic around here. I have managed to get very little done on my 86. The hood is now painted black and on the car. The doors and one fender are primed and ready to be edged white, as are the door jambs. Course, I need to find time to use the spray booth to do those. This guy from the forum who lives in Manhattan drove over this past Friday night and watched me take the harnesses out of the sr5-gts conversion, so that he would know how to install them himself, and then he paid me 300 for them. I needed to sell those anyways, seeing as I want to turn the car back to an sr5. someone in maryland that the skyline guy knows is interested in buying my two sr5 hatchbacks as they are now. if that happens i will definitely be looking for another car to work on, as it is, i need one, because my dads oldsmobile threw its timing chain, and that was the car i was using. between gifts from relatives and money from selling car parts, i have a decent amount in the bank, and i can easily pay for next semesters tuition. as for extra, there isnt much, and i still owe my parents around 6 grand. chris, the guy who draws misfile, finished the artwork hes doing for me, and it came out awesome. i cant wait to get the original in the mail and try to make a poster print from the colored scan. right now, im using it as my background ^_^. i have also caught up on reading dominic deegan. if i could only catch up on my real reading and on costume stuff id be in good shape. i have tomorrow off from work, so a short week next week. maybe ill be able to find time to at least get those parts done and back on the car. then if i throw the taillights back in i could at least drive the gts around to and from work. hope everyone had a good year and holiday, whatever everyone celibrates. laters!
