Mu~, so many people wanting to go home and working for it. May any of you answer me a small question? Simple curiosity, mu~...

Once the Malnosso are defeated or whatever you want to do with them, once you are capable of returning to your homes... What do you plan to do with the wings, mu~? You won't be expecting them to vanish magically, right?

As long as I can go home, I don't really care what happens to my wings. They've been a part of me for so long that I don't mind them anymore. If I have to return with them, so be it.

Glad for you, but what if their presence doesn't allow you to return, mu~?

[Puzzled at that.]

You think it's the wings that are keeping us here?

...considering that we'd die if we cut them off, I don't think I'd have much choice but to keep them.

Not exactly what I think, mu~, but close. The wings are an anomaly in most of us, an anomaly that if removed by our own means it would kill us. But who's to say that's the only way they can kill us?

In our worlds we lack them, here we have them, what if not have them removed before returning makes us anomalies to our worlds? What if the natural order guides the anomaly to be destroyed or even destroy the world the anomaly is entering to, as well?

[Pause.]

I would give nearly anything to return to my world, whatever it took. The only thing that would stop me is this imminent death or causing the destruction of my world, as you put it.

...but I'd need proof that it's a likely possibility, first.

Don't take it too seriously, mu~. I'm just stating a theory, an idea. There's no proof of it.

But there's no proof either than the Malnosso are the ones behind we being in this world, maybe for being inside the barrier. But who can say that once the Malnosso fall, it will be the end? Maybe the wings do nothing, and are just decoration, maybe they will vanish in thin air... Maybe they aren't even the work of the Malnosso, mu~.

From what I've heard, that's actually true; the Malnosso didn't bring us here, but you're right about the barrier. As for what or who did snag us...your guess is as good as mine. Not that I can give you any proof, either, it's just what I heard.

...maybe the wings only last in this world, anyway. I wouldn't be surprised.

Certainly it seems many are at the idea that the Malnosso have no power over our presence in this world, just inside the barrier. There are many who don't think so, thought. It's still curious how many assume so quickly that defeating the Malnosso will bring us back home, mu~.

That would be an optimistic idea. But not very realistic, don't you think?

It depends on what you consider 'realistic'. I fought a being dedicated to taking over my world, at the moon's core. After that, little else seems impossible.
