what and adventure
I know I haven't been on in awhile. But you know life does get in the way. We got a wedding to plan. Work. And other things. But just wanted to check in and say hi.
Today Jo and I took a bike ride @ St. Mary's River state park. We went looking for a cache. Its very fun to ride. The terrian isn't to terrible. Maybe a 3.5 moderate for Bikes. Hiking iis probably a 4. But its not to bad. So anyways we arrived at the park around 5pm and set off starting at the 0 mile marker. We made to the cache around 6:30 pm. It was between the 3.75 mile marker and 4 mile marker (Closer to the 4 mile marker by a .10 of a mile). We did find the cache. We went looking for it twice. Once by Kayak and Once by Bike. We found it by Bike. It was pretty well hidden. We then signed the log and headed on our way. At about 7 pm the sun started to hide behind the trail. And we were only at the 4.5 mile marker. By the time we arrived at the 5.5 mile marker it was around 7:30 and it started getting darker. We got to the 6 mile marker and was excited since it was now completly pitch dark. So we hike on out and came out on another road. We ended going about 8 miles to the car. It was pretty eventful if you ask me. The worst part was that we forgot to bring some water. Oh well.
