Hilarious!!
I hadn't received a credit card I signed up for and called and they re-issued a new card with a new account number for me. The rep then tried to sell me an expensive credit monitoring service. I let her finish her pitch before telling her I wasn't interested. Then this is what happened:
Rep: "Can I ask why you don't want this service?"
Me: "I just don't need it."
Rep: "But, it's been all over the media."
Me: "Yeah, but so has global warming."
Rep: "Understood. Thanks and have a great day!"
I kid you not!! I couldn't believe that worked so easily!! Wow! At least all this talk about global warming is good for something! LOL
