New beginnings
First night in the new appartment. The guys are playing golf on the Wii, Jessie is bustling around in the kitchen. We have all been up since nine.
I have gotten my room together quite nicely. I need to buy some new plants, but I like the general composition. Blue, red, maroon with furniture in black, white and dark gray. That is how it is going to be. For once I am completely satisfied. It will be good.
Tomorrow I have an exam in metaphysics. I doubt I will pass. It is not that it is too difficult to understand, it is just that I am so completely uninterested in philosophy. Francly, it is boring. I have never done this bad in one term ever in my life as I have this fall, but to be honest I do believe it is simply because philosophy just is not for me. English on the other hand feels just great, and so does my literature course. Even though it includes an immense amount of reading I can't ignore the fact that I love it. I don't mind reading tons of literature and I don't mind spending basically every weekday in school, compared to last semester when three weeks could pass without me attending one single lecture.
Hopefully this term will be what last term wasn't. Interesting. Rewarding. Inspiring.
