Bardic Law:
Core Law: Law of Complete Neutrality
- A bard must remain an observer and never interfere or they revoke their Bard Status.
Law of Immunity
- A bard is entitled to immunity from criminal, diplomatic or violent actions against them due to the Law of Complete Neutrality.
- Offenders of this law are subject to the guild’s collective retaliation though it must remain within the boundaries of Bardic Law.
Law of Exemption
- A bard is exempt from local law or custom unless that counters the Law of Complete Neutrality.
Law of Services
- When services are employed the bard must do everything they can to complete the request unless that counters the Law of Complete Neutrality or is outside the jurisdiction of a bard.
Law of Payment
- A bard may pursue and be supported in pro bono work with the guild’s permission.
- When services are employed, the bard gets a commission of the payment.
- A bard’s commission is fixed and dependant on the bard’s place in the guild.
