big update!
well, let's see...it's been how long since i updated so i might as well do it now!
Taco Bell has come and gone as a job...they hired me as a counter person and i was stuck on Taco Bell side making stuff...which i wasn't very happy about.
so i quit there...
The Pizza Hut main opener quit, so Jacob and I have been opening cook there every day for the past week and a half...boy is that really tiring! that will be nice money, but we're exhausted because of it.
One of our managers quit so they are looking for a new one...i'm trying to get that position! everyone is very supportive about my decision to do that so that's exciting!
and i'm now a tax professional at H & R Block...isn't that nice?! i have business cards that actually say that! :-) that's really fun and i love the people that work there with me! so that keeps me happy too.
Going back to school in less than a week is really exciting! i can't wait to start something new. Hopefully i will love my new track in life and will be much happier. Not that i wasn't happy with music, i just realized after graduating and just being in orchestra last year how much i really did love playing the violin...i think just being a music major got to me and i think i am going to enjoy music so much more if i just play it, not teach it. so that's where i am at now.
Christmas was awesome! we got a full week off to go home and be with our families! it was amazing. We really hadn't gotten any time off before to spend with our families since we came here! we got lots of really cool stuff for our apartment and some awesome clothes and that.
we're still broke...trying to scrape up enough money to get by...but you know...jacob and i have gotten through everything life has thrown at us so far. my parents have been super supportive and helped us out when we needed it. we're supposed to get a nice refund check here sometime this semester so that will be a huge help! hopefully i can get that managers position so my pay will go up signifigantly and i am guarenteed 23 hours a week.
so it's been really fun! being an active TBS sister again has been awesome...even though i only had 1 meeting so far as active. and I am really excited about running for VPM next year. I think I have some really good ideas to bring the values back to TBS and am QUITE excited be eligible to be an officer! :-) along with that, as long as we get an MC class next semester, I will most likely become a great great grandbig! MAN AM I OLD?!?!?! i love every second of it though! my family ROCKS! and yes that does include all of my "in-laws" :-)
ok...its time to relax,watch some tv and get some sleep before 3 more days of opening!
