I'm in the Diario de Yucatan. The Yucatan paper all over the Y.P.!!

Oh and if you can't read Spanish the article is about the Orquesta
Sinfonica de Yucatan and the concert we're doing this weekend. (The
big piece being Pictures at an Exhibition, hence the gallery we're in
and the idea of the concert being to render homage to Merida (the town
I'm in), hence the costumes!)

Mexico... FRICKEN AMAZING!

I hope to post serious entries later (I've been keeping a paper journal)

A couple highlights:
-People I've met... what a beautiful melting pot!
-Manta... the magnificent manta ray that was like a pet puppy dog to me and others on the island
-Isla Contoy- undescribeable... unreal... something of a pristine island that has been mostly untouched... (it was on the way to Cuba... Claire and I wanted to keep going!)
-Crazy biking tour of all of Isla Mujeres... Claire and I saw the sights and had a marvelous fricken time while we were at it.
-Being a part of an orchestra, city and life while here. I feel at home (and have a great host).

Time for rehearsal!
