At 10AM this morning, the World Championships of Goaltimate, Version Upper Midwest were played out between the Devilish Darks and the Liliputian Lights. the Lights triumphed, sweeping the Darks in three matches.
The Lights relied on several two point scores to vault them over a scrappy Dark squad.
The Darks were profounded hampered in their outing by the injury of their own two point scoring machine, Dave the Hammer. His face was mangled beyond surgical repair by a bullet pass from his own teammate, Amber the Fastest Woman Alive.
The Goaltimate Championships of the Upper Midwestern World are, apparently, unflappable when it comes to winter weather. Expect to see the League continue on through the depths of winter."
