Miami Vice sucks!
Looks like I'm not getting my Hugo magazine. Apparently, they've run out of the magazine I bought and the one I ordered never arrived. I don't know if it's because I am angry, but whenever they email me, I get more annoyed than anything else. The last 2 emails they sent me, they just kept emphasizing they had FREE shipping (just like that, in CAPS), for some reason that really got on my nerves. I'm not stupid, I get it, that you have FREEE shipping, and that is what I wrote back to them too. Then they have the nerve to send me an email advertising that they had a new Hugo article for me to buy, HAHAHA! Right. I was tempted to reply with something sarcastic, but didn't.
Miami Vice: blech! My hubby and I left the theaters 45 minutes into the movie, we were starting to look around the theater, at each other, at our cell phones (I began texting a friend at one point, that's when I knew it was time to leave), so we finally decided to leave and save our selves from further misery and mental confusion. The movie was very, very slow...The dialogue (and the plot) was confusing and full of cop jargon. I felt like I was getting a lesson in becoming a cop than enjoying a movie. Acting was unconvincing and dry, especially from one particular person. Jamie Foxx was probably the most entertaining aspect of the whole movie. That was painful, but I guess I did owe the hubby one for The Devil Wears Prada, so we're even!
