Well so far the hockey season has started out pretty bad, but then again we've only had 4 games. We still have 78 games left. On the plus side to it, one of my favorite goaltenders Marc-Andre Fleury came back last night. I'm not sure for how long considering I know that he's taking over for Jocelyn Thibault, who got hurt in the season opener game by getting hit with the knee with a puck and badly brusied it. So yeah he was Fleury was called back from the minors to play. WOO HOO GO MARC-ANDRE FLEURY!!!! On top of that our golden child has done very well so far. He's made at least one point in every game we've played. That's more than some of the other guys who are on the team. Then making his first goal against the Boston Bruins in the home opener just like Mario Lemieux did when he started out... This kid has plenty of potential. He just needs to let it out. LOL I don't mean making penaties, but it would be nice to see him slash again... LOL don't tell my boyfriend I said that though. But it was funny durring the scrimmage game. I would never wish him to serve some time in the box for that.
Speaking of Crosby, I was reading the news paper (the sports section of course) and saw a little paragraph about Crosby's jersey that he wore his first NHL game went missing from his checked luggage after landing in Buffalo. Now to think that someone is that desperate to get his jersey, that they would just steal it from his own checked luggage is horrible. I mean it's retarted. I know there are fans out there and little girls drool over him (god knows I do and I'm in a relationship) but stealing from him is just wrong. f you want to get you son or daughter a Sidney Crosby jersey, go buy it. It's a lot cheaper and less humiliating. I say this because he had another jersey (the one he wore to the world junior championship when canada one) when a janitor stole it for his daughter while he was changing planes. The guy wound up getting caught, giving it back, apologizing, losing his job, and paying $300 to crime victims. What a stupid way to get something that you want. Besides his dad, Troy Crosby (who also played hockey as a goalie)is right "It goes to a bigger issue about the airport security" in the 9/11 world. "If you can take something out of a bag without being caught, you could put something in a bag as well. If this can happen, what's going to stop an act of terrorism from happening the same way?" I hope you find your jersey Sidney.
