we all live in glass boxes, invisible walls let them watch us, their beady eyes analyze, scrutinize.

being over-analytical can be a fault.

this, in combination with my love of mailart, glamourbombing, poetic terrorism, anonymous projects, and the like, as well as my habit of falling very very hard for my crushes gave me an idea.

make lists of the small things that you adore about people in your life, the things that you can't get out of your head, that make you (fall in) love with them, and so forth. it might be nice to do for yourself, reminders of the things in life that are notable and special and magical in their own way. and if they can get too personal (especially if you would want to give a list to this person(s) anonymously), make an abridged list. things like: you let me see you in the morning with your hair messed up and your glasses on, i can never seem to give you a hug without arms being entangled awkwardly, you surprise me with your random thoughts and inspirations (such as how curious portuguese strikes you).

i know i would feel incredible if i got one of these, even anonymously. lists like these get well-worn creases from folding and unfolding, pasted into notebooks, kept in boxes on top shelves for years and years to be found at random, incite tears.

(there is also the possibility for the 'occasionally endearing but annoying things that make me mad at you' list. that should be saved for yourself, unless your connection to that person is unbreakable. and even then.)

get writing, and go surprise people.
