Someone sent me the New Year's meme and it was f'ing huge, so I took out the stupid questions, the ones that had no relevance to my life, and the ones I didn't want to answer and got it down to a modestly sleek 17 questions.
(
And now for something completely trivial... )
#10) Do I know what your tumblr is already? I thought I'd ask you which design blogs you enjoyed reading, but then the voice inside my head said, "Rachel, you need to stop wasting time reading so many blogs, especially design blogs. You're in an apartment and probably will be for the next 3 years. These projects are completely impractical at this point in your life." I'm ignoring it. Which design blogs did you read?
#11) Watching it makes me feel old, but when things like Sherlock come out of it, I don't really care. There's so much that could be done with the material they have. What they've done is amazing, but so much more could be done. It makes me excited for next summer's part.
#17) Why has the U.S. become so stupid and mediocre at everything?
*nods vigorously* Everything is falling apart because there's no working together. I don't like the partisanship that's so strong right now. It'll have to change for anything to be done over the next two years, so that gives me a little hope, but hoping for the necessary aisle-crossing is scary.

I made the mistake of setting up a file of RSS feeds for about fifty of them. Reading it takes hours, especially if I follow all the cool links they provide. *sigh*
You're in an apartment and probably will be for the next 3 years. These projects are completely impractical at this point in your life.
But, sweetie, one of the best known is called Apartment Therapy. That's no excuse not to waste time. ^_~
Here are some of my faves:
Design Milk
Apartment Therapy
Design Crush
Design*Sponge
and then there's this... (open with care)
50 of the World's Top Design Blogs
Have fun! *hides*
11) Summer?? It's coming back in summer?? *fanboy flail*

I think I got lost on the organizing tag of Apartment Therapy, but I'm back. I now have more blogs to add to my list. Thank you (I think) for enabling me. I still haven't clicked on that last link; I think I need to save it for when I shouldn't be packing everything to go back to school.
As for 11, it's late summer or early fall on BBC, but yes! I'm so excited! I flail so much for anything Sherlock Holmes (longtime mystery fan and Sherlock Holmes was the first "grown up" mystery I read as a child), but this new BBC gone PBS version has my heart.
