when it's all said and done...

Ok, I'm home from my Thanksgiving celebrations. I had a blast!

On Thanksgiving day I started off with a nap once I got to Terri's. Then we headed over to Walt and Barry's for dinner. Everything was excellent and I enjoyed it all very much in excess :) Then on Friday, Terri and I went to the Montgomeryville mall for some shopping. I spent more money than I intended to- I actually just planned on returning a shirt and finding something else but of course I couldn't stop there. I found quite a few really great pieces at Torrid and Macy's. We also stopped at Bath and Body Works and Le Gourmet Chef. Fun! By the time we got home, it was around 4 so we headed back over to Walt and Barry's for leftovers. I think I ate even more then. I'm completely stuffed. I think I can probably go a few days without eating. After dinner we went up to the third floor where there is a home movie theater. The screen is about the size of a queen size bed if you put it on the wall, only it's longer. Pretty large! There are leather couches, setees, and a kind of leather bed which I curled up on. They have surround sound and it was just like being in the theater, only better. We watched "War of the Worlds" which I have seen before so after watching the first 30 minutes or so, I took a nap until the movie was over. Said our goodbyes, went back to the house and picked up all my gazillion bags and then Terri and I went to Matthew's so I could say hello and meet his wife for a few minutes before I drove back home. So it was a really nice visit! AND- Terri and Yogi decided to keep the dog, or "Poochie" as I call her. It turns out she's a cocker spaniel. So cute! So that is a weight off of my shoulders :)

Now I'm home, still stuffed, and have a lot of cleaning, laundry, and cd making to do before my parents get home tomorrow. Also, tomorrow Scotty is coming down and we're going to go bowling, out to dinner, maybe see a movie (I'd love to see Pride and Prejudice) and then go out for drinks since he's moving to Portland next week and I won't have a chance to see him again before them. Should be fun, if not a little sad. So it goes.
