S2 E6
I wasn't going to write this post but I can't fucking help it, it's bothering me that much. Can someone please explain to me how I can land a job 1000 miles away but not in the town I have been living in for 5.5 years?
I have my thoughts. 4 months of searching and hundreds of applications to get a job 1000 miles away by simply inquiring if someone was hiring. I'm extremely grateful this opportunity has risen, I'm so excited for it! But the nagging feeling that I'm not good enough for a job here is strong.
It took me 5 months to get the job I did have for almost 5 years and that's only because Bill worked there and they needed someone quick. It's baffling to me. I know I look mean, I can't help that. It's something I have heard my whole life. It could be that, which is why I need to go home. I've had TONS of interviews, some 2 and nothing.
I never had an issue finding work in Jersey. All good, I'll go home to where the peeps are similar to me. I'm on the opposite end of their spectrum here for sure.
