Preparations have come to a halt for now. I'm looking at the set und I decided to stick with the Mount Olympus theme, but it's not going to be as grand. *sighs* I can't allow myself to feel defeated, but it is my fault that I fired the entire crew for just cause I might add. One of them offended Raphael, the other really made Atem upset, und I couldn't stand for that. It's best that I finished it with my own hands. *smiles* It's my calling to get this done for my friends und my family! It'll be worth the bruises. Leon was the first to see the structure und he was amazed, but it still isn't done.
I sat on the scaffolding, looking up at the structure at the apex und I could feel the accomplishment. I picked up the hammer, the small pail of nails und strapped on the carpenter's belt. I had the vision in my head. The plans were there. All I had to do was make it happen. The only sound in this great hall was me hammering away on the nails. I picked up another piece of wood, hammered it into place und then looked at the plans, measured und cut the necessary pieces. The trouble was, I have never used a saw, hammer or drill a day in my life until now. I was nervous. . . no. . . frightened is more the term. I stayed there until I felt that I needed a break.
I began to feel dizzy when I tried to get down from the latter. The next thing I knew, I saw black, the I hit the floor. . . hard, but I still couldn't get up. I felt so weak. I tried to fight off the darkness, but I was consumed. I passed out.
When I awoke, I felt tender hands touch me, but I didn't know who. My heart told me that it was Atem that saw me first, but he couldn't have carried me. Raphael is strong enough, so he had to have been the one to carry me to my room. I opened my eyes, I couldn't see. I panicked. Tender, yet strong hands held me firm, und the recognizable baritone steadied my heart. I'm afraid to say, I may be blind. *begins to shake* I don't know what else to do. The doctor said that it may be from the concussion as a result from the fall, und he said that it may not be permanent. We won't know until I get to the hospital for the CAT scan. (Ludwig had to type this for me.)
