Today was the first real sunny day since I've been back.
I went exploring in
Mt. Tabor Park. It's this beautiful little foresty mountain complete with several reservoirs and a volcanic crater smack in the middle of SE Portland. It's not too big to conquer in about an hour but big enough to feel like you've escaped. I did a little jogging but kept getting distracted by beautiful vistas.
I then drove around the SE a bit. Got a latte at
Stumptown and then drove downtown to enjoy cheap Thai on the waterfront from the
Thai Basil food cart. I found a parking spot right on the corner, the food was awesome...and I still have most of it leftover for dinner and lunch tomorrow for $6- including tip and a Thai iced tea. I couldn't eat that cheap, healthy, and delicious even if I cooked myself.

It was so clear today I had amazing views of Mount Hood from both Mt. Tabor, and the waterfront. it doesn't get much better than this. The best part: I didn't get lost!
