Closing reception: Charles Prentiss:Artist in Residence

Mar 09, 2005 23:46

@ my work: The Eloise Pickard Smith Gallery, Cowell College from 2-4

Charles Prentiss has been working in the gallery all quarter, painting portraits, collaborating, and basically working off of the college setting. He encouraged people to come in and paint with him...all types of people, the youngest of which is only a year and a half old! His work and the work of people who came in will be on display and we will be having a jolly old time so come keep me company. You can see my random "I'm so bored" chalk drawings. There is also a beautiful rat begging to be kissed.

Sunday is always a slow day. Doesn't looking at art and eating free food sound like a fabulous idea? If you play an instrument you are encouraged to bring it...hey you can break out in random song if you like...put together a bizarre performance art piece. This show is one of the rare occassions where anything goes, so come please.

ALSO DON"T FORGET OPEN STUDIOS FRIDAY 12-4!!!!! BASKIN ARTS!!! Whatever I have is in P128 (?) next to the metal shop.
