Today, I was a pirate too.
I was at work playing with Barbies today (which either makes me totally awesome or completely lame) and realized how creepy Barbie has gotten. Seriously, the doll had fingernails, toes, life-like joints, I mean it was creepy. The knees threw me off... they bent almost like real knees. Since when did Barbie start trying to be anatomically correct? I thought the whole point of Barbie was being superficial and fake, after all she has quit the risque past.
On the plus note, it's great to have a job where these issues come up. Today was the first time my client played Barbies, an interesting switch from our usual My Littlest Petshop and Hungry Hungry Hippos games. She also called me Smee and stabbed me with a fake sword.
I love my job.
