I got chosen for state Grand Jury duty for 18 months. Fuck.

In other news~
I wanna live in Arizona where there is no "daylight savings time" so that I can't be late for work.

jury duty sucks!
i was in a room of 300 people then a room of 50 then a room of 20 and finaly i got to go home.. so i can come back the next day and finaly get sent home for good..

I wish I only had one day to serve, but on a grand jury you serve for one year to 18 months. It could be cool, who knows?...

I kind of like Jury Duty, the idea of exercising my democratic obligation as a citizen and suchlike.

The last time I was on Jury Duty, I got selected, then elected Jury Foreman, but I had to excuse myself because I used to live next door to someone involved in the trial.

I like the idea of it as well. I really enjoy doing my part and all, I just don't want to serve for a whole year. I am going to school this next year to get a degree in criminal justice, so maybe it will be good experience.
