Forgiveness

I struggle with this one. I want to say that I am an easily forgiving person, but the truth is I kinda wonder what that means sometimes. I usually turn to bible for these sorts of questions. I remember the verse about Jesus talking to the prostitute and he said to her, "You are forgiven, now go and sin no more." This is kinda how I feel about it,

I think I can understand that point of view alot better in the last few months, sorry I don't have any "its okay, there are really good people out there" words for you. You know as well I as I that there are, but even they're going to have a bad spot here and there. Sadlly, humans are a social creature, so when they have a bad one...they spread the wealth by instinct....

I am glad someone can relate with that. Makes me feel better about being kind of standoffish to people sometimes.

It's only natural that you want to protect yourself. I know exactly what you are talking about here. Whenever I have let my guard down in the past, I have been stabbed in the back. You would think I would learn, right?

But there are a lot of good people out there. They are hard to find, but trust me, they are out there. You'll meet some, and things will be good. Just don't become like me, ok? I push everyone away because of some kind of genetic self defense mechanism.
