Another idea for urban exploration~

The old Jolly Rancher Factory on Ward and 53rd. That would be fun!

I loved that smell too.

Jolly Rancher shut down production in Colorado a couple years ago and the factory is just sitting there abandoned. I totally want to go explore the place. My dad worked there when he was 22 and he said it was the most horrible job he ever had.

What's urban exploration?

Do you mean just poking around in old factories and stuff?

It's fun, and it seems a bit cooler now that it has a proper name. It's like being kids and just poking around where you shouldn't. When I was a kid, we always used to explore in the Salt Pans near where I lived, or go digging bullet slugs out of the rifle range. Possibly not the safest pastime, now I think about it ...

No kidding, shooting range bad idea!!!

Yeah it's pretty much breaking and entering, but it is tons of fun. Jolly Rancher is an old candy factory here in colorado, I totally want to go check it out. In Colorado it has become difficult to find things as they continue knocking down and building anywhere they can. So when you find a uninhabited building you've found a diamond in the rough. I love doing it, even though it really isn't the safest thing in the world.

How's life and financial things going for you? I hope things start looking up for you soon. I know how depressing it can be. In fact, both myself and my boyfriend are out of work right now, so I can sorta feel your pain. I send you well wishes.
