The wind bit against my neck as I lunged at my opponent; run of the mill vampire- but that was how we fought, one vampire, one demon at a time. The blow landed squarely in his stomach and he made a whoosh noise, strange really, seeing as vampires don’t breathe, that you can still make them sound like they are having the air expelled from their lungs. He recovered and landed a blow in my chest, forcing me backwards. I landed on a grave stone- one of the hazards of fighting in grave yards I supposed, frequently hitting stone. I remember I once had this really weird bruise, that I couldn’t place, turned out it was from hitting an angel wing a little too hard. See, we are human, we do bruise sometimes, granted it takes a pretty hard whallop and they don’t last that long, but still, every now and then it happens.
He was kind of cute, rugged, dark hair, strong obviously, and I was reminded of Jeremy, I guess he had been keeping his end of the bargain, because I hadn’t seen him around, maybe i’d go pay him a visit..
He grabbed my arm as I punched him and twisted it round my back, he went to bite me, his teeth began to touch my skin, I thought about letting him, but knew I never would, I reached my free hand into my boot and retrieved a stake and in one swift movement reached round the back of him and drove the stake into his heart... from behind. His dust fell onto my neck and hair. Yuk, bloody vampire dust gets everywhere, I hate to think how many I’ve inadvertently ingested. Yeurgh. He was my fifth of the night, and I was ready to go home an get a shower.
I walked back to the council and let myself in the imposing doors. I decided to stop at the kitchen on my way to my room, you know how it is, and there certainly wasn’t any man I was planning on visiting right now.
(ooc open for anyone in the kitchens)
