Actually, that's a lie, it isn't late night at all, it's 11:15pm, but my parents have buggered off to bed early, making me think that I'm actually staying up late.
I didn't go round Matt's tonight under the presumption that the house was dirty, but he actually cleaned it yesterday. Ah well. I was pretty tired anyways since it had been a day of uni reading and essay writing.
My mam and I cooked Enchiladas, though! Well, I did most of it and it actually turned out really well. I'm usually used to cooking them with Matt, where I just stand stirring things and not really paying attention. Ahahaha, it seems my cooking is getting a little bit better!
I'm not really sure on the point of this entry, I was just bored and wanted to write something, so since tiredness has taken all of my creativity, here it is in the form of a ramble.
New Years Eve was pure awesomeness. As mentioned in earlier entries, I went to the Falchion with Matt, Graeme, Pip, Dawn and Rowan, and it was such a good night. Lots of good music, as well as lots of cheesy music like Backstreet Boys that I actually really enjoyed (even if Pip did mock me for knowing all the words to 'bakcstreet's back'). I love New Years when I actually go out to a pub or club, but otherwise I tend to find it quite boring. Still, I enjoyed it and I was sober due to driving and anti-biotics, though I think all my friends appreciated not having to pay for a taxi so it was all good.
I can safely say that this year feels exactly the same as last year. I don't know why we put so much emphasis on change just because of the start of the year. Surely if you want to change something about yourself, it should happen at any time, not just because it's the start of January.
That said, I have an awesome idea in relation to my modelling, which should be a bit of a new start if it gets off the ground. I don't want to give too many details away yet, but I'll explain it properly once I get the wheels in motion. Let's just say I have an idea that will combine two of my favourite things and should be a little bit new. And no, it doesn't involve ducks, although that would be awesome!
On another slightly modelling related note, Ken and I were talking about "secret" nuclear bunkers earlier and I realised I really wanna do a photoshoot in one! I'm actually gonna start doing some research on the net and seeing how possible it would be. I'm sure one of the photographers I know would fancy doing it TFCD considering it would be pretty unusual.
Tommorrow should be an interesting day, I'm meeting with Kim in a hope of sorting out a bit of a fall-out we've had. I'm not going into details cos it seems pretty tacky to explain it all on the internet and would probably look quite bitchy, which will only hinder any kind of patching up. But still, I have my fingers crossed that it'll be good.
And here endeth the ramble because even I'm bored now. If you just read all this drivel, please don't hate me! On the bright side, it did kill about 15 minutes of my life!
