One of those days!

Gah, what can I say about today?! I turn up to uni [20 minutes early I must emphasise] to hand in my assignment and get to my 12 o'clock lecture. So the handing in goes well even though I'm the first person [can anyone say NERD?!] only to arrive at the lecture to find it's cancelled.

Now admittedly my Romanticism lectures are rubbish, but it meant I was stuck in Boro for two hours without a book or anyone to go for coffee with AND the rain was far too heavy to go shopping. Yey for lecturers that can't be arsed posting cancellations on Blackboard! Bastard!

So I decided to mildly cheer myself with an overpriced cuppa and a cookie in a coffee shop. Then I was bored again, so I headed to Matt's and used his internet for a while, before eating a sandwich and heading back to my Writing for Reading Seminar, which was kinda rubbish.

Urgh, naff day so I'm now chilling out listening to a podcast of wonderful music. I must say, I'm obsessed with London After Midnight at the moment, mainly 'Your Best Nightmare' and I have now just found that the catchy tune I was humming for most of Whitby is also by them and called 'Nothing Sacred.' Me thinks more of there albums need to go on my Xmas list cos although I love them I only have one CD!

On a lighter note, though, the weekend was fun. We went to see Mememto Mori at Persecution on Friday night and they were pure awesomeness! Sins of the Flesh also played, but we went upstairs for their set since we'd seen them at Whitby the week before, hehe. Oh and I dressed as a naughty school girl!

Saturday was Pip's Birthday so I drove a few of us up to Newcastle to go out to Legends. I can't say the club was really my thing, too full of nasty blokes trying to grab me and Shelly, and I think I was bored cos I was sober. Had a right laugh with Mark and his mate who's name I feel bad about forgetting though, hehe. Pip had a great night, though and that was what was important since it was her night out. :D

Anyways, before this ramble gets any longer I shall stop. Tata!
