(no subject)
seriously...it's already been over a month since I updated? huh...funny somehow...not surprising but funny cause it seems like I just did it a week ago...
anyways...I guess since it has been that long I should put something forth...
as referred to in the last entry, I got to meet K's mom...and his youngest sister {oh yea, he has four sisters and two brothers if I have never mentioned that, and they alternate perfectly girl/boy, he's smack in the middle} it went well...we were only there for about an hour...he had to take his newer car to Va to get it inspected...so we did that and in the course of that I met one of his brothers-in-law...uuuhm...yea...so...that finally fell together...
eehm...went to SETC...so far total waste of time and money except for seeing some really great friends...only had one offer...at a pay rate I can't afford to leave my current job {as boring as retail can be} for...that was pretty much the unstated rule for me this year I think...I have to be offered at least {or only slightly less than} what I am making now...yes I am living with my parents, yes it kind of blows...but on the upside...I am rarely here anyway, because I work 40 hours a week, and then most of the other time I spend at K's..so...yea...and then there is the whole no rent thing, I just help do stuff around the house...but whatever...
kind of in other job news...I am looking into taking classes to become certified as a massage therapist...the National Institute of Massage Therapy has a school in Falls Church, Va as well as DC...so...yea...just need to call and chat with the woman there about all that...
my mom was supposed to have her gallbladder removed this past Friday, but she got a sore throat the night before and the doc said it would be better to post-pone the surgery than to have her risk developing a more serious respiratory illness as a cause of doing the surgery with it...so...that's now scheduled for the 15th..she's not thrilled to have to put it off since she just wants to get it over with, but understands the reasoning for it...
this past Thursday I went to see Carbon Leaf in over a year...they were fantastic...I got a lot of what I hope to turn out to be excellent photos...the crowd was rather irritating...there was this bitch standing to my left that just kept pushing on me all night...kind of ruined the show a tiny bit for me...the band that opened for them was pretty rad too...the Navigators...out of NYC...everyone should check them out...www.navigatorsmusic.com...the lead singer...oh...man...that was insaaaane...Samm, you would have peed your pants if you saw him...he looked like a really grungy version of Joey C. was kind of frightening...I'll have to show you pictures when I get them developed!
I guess that's kind of it in a nutshell...not much going on besides work and family and boyfriend you know? gets mildly monotonous...but...what can you do?
hope everyone is well and that they had a happy eat chocolate cause Jesus died and came back to life day...so...yea...I guess I'll be writing again in a month {hah}
