Twas a fairly interesting evening

I called a girl who i planned on having only superficial relations with, and we went out. There are things my mind says telling me that i shouldn't like this girl, but my gut feeling actually says she is ok. That is exactly the opposite situation i usually find myself in. My gut usually says bad when my brain and genitals usually say good.

Ashleigh actually said something about relationships that makes a lot of sense: "To fall in love, you have to think your partner is better than you in some way." That is not exactly what she said, but it is close. With that logic in mind, i cannot love Ashleigh the way she loves me now, though i recognize she is a wonderful woman and a great lover. How do you make sense of that?
