Recollection: The first thing i did when i woke up was... hit the snooze button! Yes! I am sure that is what i did. For once i know what i did! Woohoo! Then i reset the alarm clock for a bit later. I went back to try and sleep. I argued with myself in my head. See it was early (5:30am) and I really needed to get to school to give a presentation. Still, its my day off! Motherfucker. So i tried to go to sleep. Then i thought... Hmmm. This teacher. She is going out of her way letting me come into her class to speak for a few minutes. I missed the appointment once already. She is the type of teacher who merits a student on their attendance and ability to be on-time. She is doing me and the Student Union a favor. Ok. Fuck. I'll get up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(I am recalling the following situation and analyzing it. I am not really trying to console myself or search for guidance, though i really do appreciate all the guidance everyone gives. Angeline, I hope it does not bother you that i write about this situation.)
Angeline went through some shit yesterday. I provided comfort in the best possible way i think i can. I gave her a hug. I know i can't comfort her with words at this point. She will talk to the person who she needs to talk to when it is time to talk to them.
It is only moments such as this that truly test our character. It is the people who are there to help us through these moments whom we really bond with. Interesting how that happens. Interesting how we find out who our friends are.
