Quick post about shit that is cool:
* Batman Begins - Yes. It does rock. Chris Nolan made sure of that. Not to mention the amazing cast. Go see it.
* Mr. and Mrs. Smith - Yes. It was actually really good. Hilarious all through out, and the chemistry between Brad and Angelina is almost untoppable. Heh. Or something.
* The White Stripes ~Get Behind Me Satan - There was never any doubt for me that it would be awesome, but it surpassed my expectations by being fresh and new sounding, instead of the typical Stripes' blues rock. Jack White is my hero. "And that was all that I needed..."
* Coldplay ~ X&Y - I haven't listened to it as much, since I got it on the same day as the White Stripes, but it is very good. They haven't made a mediocre album yet. I love the music that I love. Bands never really disappoint me. It kind of rocks.
* Other great music you should check out:
- Joy Zipper (People say they're like the White Stripes, but Beach Boys influenced. I say it's just really really good, and don't label it)
- I Am Kloot (Great mellow brit-pop-rock)
- The Stands (Remind me of Beachwood Sparks and My Morning Jacket)
* Plus: I just got the new Alkaline Trio album, and I haven't heard it yet, but I'm excited. Matt Skiba is looking really good. Not that that has anything to do with the music, but I hear that there are strings, and synth. I'm looking forward to that.
