Does anyone else get bogged down in obsessively researching for fics? Since most of the fics I'm working on are multichaptered and plotty, and all set in locations I'm not terribly familiar with, I do want to do some research, but I think I get overly anxious about never ever being inaccurate and it just brings the whole process to a standstill.
Anyone got any tips for researching? The technique that seems to work best for me so far has been reading every novel I can find set in the place or time I'm researching, but it's awfully time consuming.
