(no subject)
I was just sun bathing in the back yard when I heard what I assumed to be a wasp flying around nearby. I sat up to check it out, and I couldn't find him, but it was pretty loud. Then I thought about it for a second, and realized that wasps don't make those kinds of popping sounds...
To my horror I realized the giant willow tree in the back yard has grown to such a height that it is now rubbing against the power lines behind our house when the wind blows. It sounds like the popping of kindling or something. Eek.
On a side note: How do glasses make a person look French? My General Manager said that to me yesterday. He's a crazy Moroccan. All the chefs were calling me Maestra, and my friend Carlos said I looked "professional". Interesting how a pair of frames can change a face so much!
