One of the most beautiful films I have ever seen happens to be a story about ruthless bloodshed. So astoundingly good, you all have to go see it. Sure, it's savage and saturated in testosterone, yes it is a ridiculous notion to start war without at least attempting to use diplomacy first, sure the Spartans were big egotistical pricks using brute force rather than logic, but holy goddamn this movie kicked ass.
