we had to pull out most of the rosebushes when steve started building the playground/swingset thingy for the boys. he shoveled out 16 of them, and I disbursed them to my mom and her sisters. I kept 3 of them.
Anyway, i LOVE roses, but am so not a fan of of the actual rose bush. luckily, we also have a rose tree. not a bush, but a tree....and it is so cool.
i can't believe 1 little rose tree can bloom so many roses. it seems like every day there are tons more new buds.
every single one of these flowers came off of today's cutting, and there will be this many more ready to be cut in about 3 days.
our tomato plant is doing well. we planted about a month too late because of joaquin's accident, so we're just happy w/ the tomatoes. hopefully the watermelon seeds have germinated and will start to push up soon. if not, there's always next year. we were just so excited though because we made molds for the watermelons, so that they will grow into shapes! coolio.
