I was a bit worried about going for my avastin injection this time considering what happened last time, but as usual my body threw a curveball. This time she detected new vessel growth in my left eye and decided midway through the exam to do the FA and then after reading the results of that decided she needed to do 942 blasts of laser since that was all my eyeball had room for. Now both retinas are fulluy lasered and the only choices after that are scalpel surgery and blindness.
It's tough to have to rely on my right eye for vision now considering the blob it has and the distortion from its injection today, but tougher wondering if my vision in my left eye will actually come back from the block wearing off/. It should take 8 hours, but could take 48 hours before i'll have a better picture of my vision. She's already told me this will wwreck the last bit of peripheral vision i have.
Bright side though, fluorescent pee for the next could of visits to the toilet! I suppose I could try and get all my snorkeling in early...seeing anything in the maldives in 2018 feels like pushing my luck at this rate.
