Weekend not going as planned ...
FedCon Dallas cancelled an hour into the second day.
Bah. Well, before they shut it down I had fun. Gigi Edgely from Farscape had some great stories & was very animated, and John Billingsley, the Doctor from Enterprise, was also entertaining. When the organizer came out to say they were shutting everything down as of now, he (Billingsley) made sure they brought people up on stage to answer questions about refunds, and carried his microphone around so the fans could ask their questions & be heard.
So I found a book of Peter S. Beagle short stories, a collection of essays about Stargate, and a shiny moonstone ring, and, though I never really watched Enterprise, had a photo taken with Connor Trinneer so that I would have something fannish to show for this weekend. Fun was had!
