A poker update
I played tonight, obviously. I bought in for $20 and was doing pretty well until I had a reallyreally bad beat (his boat was bigger than mine) and I lost all but three bucks. At that point I bought in for another $20 and played a little tighter. Within, say, eight hands, I had doubled up. I was back to even. I was getting fucking stellar hands for about an hour, just raking in the chips. Then it started to die down again. Jon called half hour so I tightened up a lot. Game ended 30 minutes after that and I was up to $75. Not bad. Tip the house, say goodnight. I'm happy. I fucking love playing there. I wish they'd have more games. I won't be able to sleep because I'm high as a kite. Cards do that to me. Jon's been asking me to go back to Tampa. He's going tomorrow/today and wanted me to come but I have to work. I also got invited to a Halloween party, which is unusual. The only reason I asked to take over some girl's shift is because I wanted to relieve myself of the pressures of dorkiness and sitting home on Halloween night. Andrew wanted to meet me at Halloween Horror Nights but...no. Work, work, work. Okay, all. Have a good one.
