So... Is it fair to bitch about the shittiness of my internet connection, when I don’t actually pay for it? Something to ponder.
I’ve recently (recently being 5 minutes ago) labeled myself the ultimate loner music nerd. I have Two sets of high end headphones : One to tune everyone out discreetly, and another pair large enough to announce to the world that i’m tuning everyone out. A non verbal signal to not approach. Do I care? Not really. I’m too absorbed in the music either way. I walk all over Winchester singing, tapping, and bopping with no care in the world as to how I look.
I forget sometimes how much I love music until I slip on a pair of headphones and just...listen. My current playlist is loaded with lots of harmonies. I’m a sucker for a good harmony, and it jumps from The Andrews Sisters, to Hanson, to Billy Joels “the longest time” , Delta Rae, The Lumineers, and more. I’m nothing if not eclectic. I’m also reminded that I need to build back up my music collection, it’s taken some major battering over the past few years. It’s pretty sad.
At any rate, nothing too much as changed in the grand scheme of things. Still Po’ as fuck.But, Things to look forward to: A birthday Party camping type thing (drinking, hanging out with {semi} grownups :-p), Thanksgiving,( Turkey!potatoes with 3 sticks of butter!). I’m not even touching Christmas yet, Its bad enough they’ve had that up since September. Talk to me November 18th, otherwise known as Tarah’s official Start of the Christmas Season. If you know why it’s that specific date, you win major points. Not to mention winning at life in general. :)
