but I'll just tell you here - it's silly and complicated. My best friend, emma, was dating eric's cousin will. eric was good friends with my good friend tierney. we both knew about each other before we met. but, we finally met face to face at my junior winter formal, he went with Tierney, I went with my friend Casey. All of our friends were swapping dance partners, and we were tossed together. Basically, we started dancing before we had even talked. I can't even remember if it was a slow song or not. but emma can testify that at the time I said that it was like everyone else in the room had left. and he made super intense eye contact with me and made me ultra uncomfortable. but anyway, that was the initial contact. we started hanging out later - me sneaking out at all hours of the night to meet him for coffee. him walking two hours to come to my house and drop off cute little gifts. it slowly and naturally progressed to super awesome feet sweeping romance of all sorts. it's all magic.
