Playing catch-up
Yeah, so I've been neglecting writing in LJ ... but also reading up on my friends , for a bit.
So here's the update... The job I wanted so much (2 interviews) I didn't get. They went with someone else... *sighs*. So I'm again, looking sending out resumes... though It really starting to get me down. I sent out nearly 50 resumes so far and only got a reply and invitation to an interview from that one place that fell through. I don't know why that is... but it's frustrating.
Another frustrating point... I have to deal with my school loans, consolidation, deferment, etc.. it's a pain in my ass and I'm just not good with all this finance stuff. Thankfully I have
dgsolar to help me. He's just wonderful...
On that note again... D is just the most wonderful person and I love him so much. I'm so used to caring for others that it's wonderful and at the same time strange to be cared for so much. So as D mentioned in his post, I haven't been feeling well for the past few days and needed to go to the ER for strong abdominal pain. (And the Dr didn't find anything wrong with me... it's so typical, I'm hurting but all tests are coming out normal ..pisses me off... anyway) D went with me and stayed there all 5-6 hours they held me there, without sleep. It just made my heart melt... I love you so much, Sir! I really wished you'd rest but thank you so much for being there for me.
This new life is so different for me. I'm the one who takes care of everyone and do everything on my own... that's how it has always been and now, I have
dgsolar to do things with and to make decisions together. I'm loving it but got to admit that I'm still getting used to it.
We skipped the munch this week , but we did needed a downtime for a bit, that's for sure and it was a nice evening last night. I actually helped D go through Magic Cards.. LOL. I don't think I'll ever get that game fully but... Sir's making an Elf deck for me *LOL* shocker, right? And a Fairy deck LOL :) Another surprise ! :) We'll see what comes out of it :)
