Well, it is a load of overblown nonsense, but it held my interest, which is unusual for a thriller, and the bits about the Priory of Sion and the Kinghts Templar were fascinating, as well as the stuff about the Grail which I've always been curious about. Ian McKellen is great - everybody else is awful, even Paul Bettany who was laughable I'm afraid to say. Tom Hanks wasn't nearly as good as he should have been (I usually quite like his movies) and he had these weird facial expressions all the way through, as if he was chewing a wasp :D
The other thing which really annoyed me was the flashback sequences which were done as if they were going on behind the person who was telling the story - as if they were all in the same room - can't explain it very well but it was very distracting!
I liked the ending though, which I won't give away - but I suggest you don't waste your money at the cinema - wait for the DVD!
