I went to the Knowsley Hall music festival in Liverpool at the weekend. My first one, at my age! The music was great, but the conditions, OMG - think of the worst mud you've seen at Glastonbury and times it by ten - at least we could laugh about it afterwards. :D
Walking back to the car park in the dark was fun - my friend Mary jumped out of her skin when she put her hands out in front of her and felt something warm - it was only a HORSE, with a policeman on it!
My shoes and bag went in the bin when I got home. :D
I've always wanted to go to a festival and now I've got it out of my system and can confidently say "never again!"
