Earth Day Week
Has been very ponderous for me.
A year ago at this time I was still with Starbucks and Volunteering at the Co-Op twice a week, every week crossing my fingers that they'd want to hire me! Now I have keys to the place. Their festival was in the tiny back parking lot, with only a small handful of vendors.
A year later I'm working 6 days a week there and finally begging Gretta for a break once in awhile! We were allowed to close the street for The Earth Day Festival and the store was packed, as well as people milling about outside!
We're talking about having another terminal in the store...checkstand.
We're talking about expanding to add another location!
Most of departments are now hiring assistants!
Seeing that much progress in just one year is...awe-inspiring and exhausting but...I'm grateful I'm along for the ride!
