On Sunday we had a BBQ with Don and Michael mentioned at the table that he'd be biking with me to work Tuesday morning, Phoenix and Don both sparked interest about joining us. When Don left that night we said, alright be here Tuesday morning at 5am if you want to ride or come up Monday night and crash here so you're ready.
He did.
Phoenix woke up this morning complaining that his legs hurt. I said, "babe, are you sure you want to ride, there's going to be big hills!"
you know what he said...
I gotta ride, Mom. I didn't ride with you last week because I slept in.
OMG! He sounds JUST like his Dad!!!!
Had another beautiful ride this morning! The Ebey Island Fog under the tressel at sunrise is breathtaking. I mean sure you can see it in a car but you can't FEEL how cool it is with glass and metal protecting you.
After my shift Michael took us out to Alderwood to buy me a headlight for my bike, a bell, and MY FIRST PAIR OF SPANDEX BIKE SHORTS(with a chamois).
I feel all uber bike nerdy now! hahaha
