[The feed flickers on to reveal the young blonde holding the device out at arms length, pale moonlight forming a shifting halo in his hair. Flecks of lavender appeared in his eyes for a moment, evidence the effects of the obscuration spell placed on his eyes was beginning to wear off after so many years.
"My magic doesn't seem to have the desired effects in this place...like it can't grasp a proper foothold..." There was a slight tense set to his jaw as he finished this and he shook his head, "Saying that may leave me at a bit of a disadvantage...but I don't intend to shed blood unnecessarily...that's not to say I won't fight like a cornered cat if it comes to that..." He runs a steady hand back through his hair, "I'm growing bored of being confined to my room these past few days...but exploring presents its own foulness. I suppose it would be more entertaining, though..."
With a fluid motion, he set the device down, the ceiling soon replacing the youth's face. Sheets rustled and a moment later, a pale hand reached out, cutting the feed.]
