the life of a bum.
I don't know if I've mentioned this and I'm too lazy to check, however I dropped two of my classes and just taking math since that is the class I really need at this point. I am thinking of joining the air force hopefully granted that they are able to at least guarantee me going into something in the medical field. I've looked at what I believe are negative aspects of the military and find that I think that I'm pretty cool with it. I'm hoping to get assigned to a foreign country 1 Korea, 2 Japan, 3 Germany (europe in gen). I've been living the life of a bum in the meantime and my parents are being pretty mean about it. I mean at first they were thrilled that I'm really thinking of joining and they said that if I did then I don't have to pay rent and can just live at home and study until then, however now they claim that I must have a job within another week. I'm kind of upset at that. I understand that we are going through a lot financially with credit and what not, however I feel it very unfair that they do that. What more is that I got into a huge fight with my mom because she called me a bum and a loser. I did not understand her logic at all. I mean what grants her the divine right to call me that? I mean she has done nothing and all I said was that I passed my first test with a 90% (hit the wrong bubble on one question otherwise would've been 100%) anywho I was just really mad since I feel that I have listened to every single piece of advice they have given me and made my own decision that the military would be the best since I would be receiving benefits I would be at a civilian job, plus training and skills that would assist and further my career, plus tuition assistance (there went mr. grammer) At this point I would accept almost any job in the military since I have found that any job available to those without any skill or experience is really shitty. I mean I can't get away from all the call center or customer service bullshit. That's exactly what I'm trying to get away from. I'm hoping to get training in being a pharmacist technician. I mean who will tell off one of those? I think being the minion of a pharmacist dishing medicine to old needy people is perfectly peachy with me. Then maybe someday I can have minions of my own, but until then I wouldn't mind that. I mean I'm pretty much in with the military, the only way they won't have my name down is if they give me some call center job...very unlikely I'm sure.
Lately my health has been shot. I've been very sick for a while since going to the hospital. What my family is worried of is, since I have been having trouble with my eyes since I wore an old pair of contacts, is that they were infected and can affect my vision for the worst. At first my vision was really bad even with my glasses on, but it wore off after a while so I'm hoping it stays that way. I'm thinking it probably needs to be checked out anyway since going blind is really no fun I'm guessing. On a happier note I'm super close to getting married in Harvest Moon MFoMT which kind of sucks since the game gets boring after that...but still I'm happy. ^__^
