In Roman Times
Toga Party tonight, I made my costume, (looked amazing). Also made some pasta salad to go with the whole Italian theme. It was alright, I guess I was expecting more seeing how it was my going away party. Not as many ppl RSVP and I can't help but think I'm not worthy for such a thing. I mean I threw my own going away party (kind-of sad). I think I would have been happier just dressing in a toga at home and watching Animal House as it was my inspiration.
I'm leaving home and everyone I know in just 8 short days. I'm a little nervous but at the same time very excited to have this experience. Being away from home for 3 months is a big deal to me, I wish I'd have done it years ago.
I guess I just get a little depressed after parties are over, I build up in my head how grand it is going to be and I'm just setting myself up for disappointment.
