~nothing in all its beauty [poem]

Underneath this smile
.....sorrow.....
.....grief, disaster and chaos.....
daylight has just no effect,
is plain emptiness.....
and stings, this blank memory.....

my eyes hurt.....
just like that.....
nothing to hear,
images fly by
and get lost in the void
for eternity.....

Cannot focus my attention
as there is nothing to focus on
and the minutes die like hours
while my mind rots
in the silent noise
of solitude.....

It hurts wasting time
being alone, the soul dries
too fast.....
horrific shadows want to get me.....
under their spells.....
a sigh chokes me by the door.....
I can't escape.....
it's.....
too much.....
