Clint Barton awoke with his arm around a beautiful woman, he smiled knowing it was Becca sleeping peacefully in his arms. He very carefully left the bed, trying not to wake her up and changed into a pair of blue jeans and a t-shirt. Figured he might as well go get some target practice. He went outside, setting up a few targets and put a few trick ( Read more... )

"They have. However, might I request that your next prank against Mr. Stark not involve quite the same volume of whipped cream as last time?"

Sitting back in her chair, Becca crosses her arms.

"Whipped cream?"

Clint laughs pretty hard.

"I told Vision shaving cream....he got it mixed up. It's not my fault. Still funny. Though I liked accidently reverses the polarity of the magnet that Hank and Tony were playing with, how long was he up there for?"

He starts to laugh a little bit more.

"I wonder if anyone has heard anything from Quasar lately, I need him to tell Firefox that he still owes me money from that last poker game."

"I believe Mr. Quasar is still gallivanting about the universe. I have not seen him in far too long." He puts the second pancake down on a plate, and hands the small stack to Becca. "Ms. Townsend, ladies first..."

There's a small selection of syrups and other toppings for the pancakes set off to the side.

"Thank you, Mr. Jarvis."

Becca takes the plate gently from his hand. She grabs the maple syrup and butter, spreading the butter and then pouring the syrup. Cutting off a bite with her fork, Becca places the bite of pancake into her mouth and chews.

"This tastes great."

Clint smiles at Becca and then to Jarvis.

"wait till you try his coffee."

"Speaking of which..." He takes the kettle from the stovetop, and turns to Becca while preparing small amount of coffee. "Mr. Barton could never be persuaded to try the gentleman's drink of tea, which I feel is quite superior to my coffee. However, I have enough hot water here for both. Which would you prefer, Ms. Townsend?"

"I actually am more of a tea drinker myself. Hope that's not too much trouble."

Becca smiles and takes another bite.

"So when do I get to meet all these great people you are talking about? Only know of some. Wasn't much of a comic book reader growing up."

"Whenever I can actually talk to a few of them. Janet and Hank are usually off in some foreign world nowadays, Tony's too busy with his company, Cap has a lot on his plate. Hell, Simon is a movie star, Wanda is well....she's off somewhere. Half of the roster is MIA all the time. It's complicated."

He smirked as he took a bite into a pancake.

"I've missed alot of them to be honest."

"The feeling is mutual," Jarvis says warmly, handing a cup of tea to Becca and turning to her. "And you would, of course, be welcome."

Nodding, she takes a sip of her tea and smiles.

"Good to know. And this taste amazing. You really didn't need to do all this. I should have been the one cooking breakfast. But thank you."

"Nonsense," he admonishes. "A lady is not required to cook breakfast when a gentleman's gentleman is available instead." He glances at Clint. "I'd suggest that Mr. Barton could occasionally produce breakfast, but I believe we all know how that would likely turn out."
