Hmmm . . .
Wow. It's been a minute, huh? Things are well. I talk to people more on myspace than anything these days, yeah, I got on that bandwagon. Actually, I've had one for awhile, and I use it more now because that's where everybody else is. Everybody else being my little sister and the few people I talk to from work. And some of you . . .
Things are good. Just hit my 90 days as salaried at the casino, so my sick days, vacation, and INSURANCE has kicked in. Woohoo. Now I can get sick. Yay! I mean, yeah, well, nevermind. Anywho . . .
Christmas lights went up last week, as did the tree. This is my first year to actually have lights up outside. I'm so happy and excited! They're awesome. And if you want to be a scrooge and hate on my lights, STOP IT! These lights were important to me. And because of that, John risked life and limb . . . okay, probably just limb (there was still ice on the roof.) to get them up for me. And that's just one of the reasons that I love him. The tree is up, I finally found the perfect star and for the first time in 9 years, my tree has a topper on it. All in all, life is good. I'm happy, I think John's happy, work is good, the bills are being paid, and we've got enough to help out family when they need it. And while PJ thinks I'm much too bitter for my age, she'd flip if she knew just how much I've improved.
